Matthews Sears has been known for agitating against Duchesne on Twitter and for promoting the NDP federal political party.
.. so some would say he is using his academic post to be a political activist.. not all professors in Canada enjoy the luxury of being able to speak freely on issues.. as we have seen Prof. Rick Mehta fired for his commentary on Twitter.
As a vocal supporter of the NDP Matthew Sears and his party are especially focussed on race it would seem - celebrating extra proudly the victory in BC of Mr. Singh as leader of the NDP.

Both CTV News and CityNews Winnipeg have been found to be publishing blatantly false media reports in regards to the Canadian Nationalist Party(www.nationalist.ca/?p=6069).
On July 28th of last year our party held a private event at the Belgian Club (www.belgianclub.ca) in Winnipeg. We are posting this report to demonstrate to the public just how corrupt our media truly is here in Canada.
These Winnipeg media outlets have engaged in spreading false, destructive, and defamatory rumors. These defamatory actions involve creating media reports that claim the Canadian Nationalist Party is a “white nationalist” group. We have spent several years serving the community in the political profession and building a positive reputation. These defamatory actions are an attack on our professional reputation and an affront to our community-building efforts.
The event on July 28th at the Belgian Club was a private function. Yet, the media outlets in question used video footage in their reports which was never authorized by our organization.
The video footage used in the media reports was unlawfully acquired by a group who was trespassing on and vandalizing private property in an attempt to disrupt our private function. These hooligans also assaulted members of our organization (which you will see in the video). Publishing this video footage (which was unlawfully acquired) in a media report (which is factually incorrect) is an act of defamation. It is also an act of interception.
Section 184 of the Criminal Code “Every one who, by means of any electro-magnetic, acoustic, mechanical or other device, wilfully intercepts a private communication is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years”.
Considering this is a private event for a political party actively competing in the upcoming 43rd Federal Election, we take this breach of justice very seriously. As a political party whose application is currently in the process to become federally ratified and intends on competing in the upcoming 43rd Federal Election, these characterizations of our party are socially limiting and financially destructive. Canadian citizens who read these media reports and come to the false conclusion that we are indeed as portrayed, will not even consider voting for our political party or support our beliefs in any regard. In some cases, these citizens who gain a false impression of our group because of these defamatory statements will not only disagree with our political message, but will actively oppose us. This is a clear act of defamation and a violation of Canadian law.
These actions toward our organization, on behalf of the media industrial industry will influence our decisions moving forward and which media outlets are permitted entry to our events.
In response to this illegal act, the Canadian Nationalist Party has decided to prohibit CTV and CityNews from attending our events or interviewing with our candidates until further notice. #cdnpoli

The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration provides almost 200 examples of good practices regarding
the management of migration and borders that states can use – if they so choose – to improve their migration systems.

recognition, and integration. Canada is already well aligned with most of these practices and many of the practices were

In December 2018, the majority of United Nations Member States – 152 out of 193 – adopted the Compact. The text is
not legally binding and says clearly that state sovereignty will not be affected. The Compact confirms that countries have
the right to determine their national migration policies, including distinguishing between regular and irregular migrants,
and determining who can enter and stay on their territory. It is clear that countries have the discretion to decide for
themselves how to implement it, based on their own situations, policies and priorities.

to protect those fleeing persecution. At the same time, we have been clear that crossing our border between official
ports of entry is not a free ticket to Canada. Safeguarding Canada’s borders is essential to making sure we continue to
keep Canadians safe, and benefit from a rules-based, world-class immigration system.
Canada has benefitted economically, socially, and culturally from regular and well-managed migration with migrants
supporting the growth of our labour force and bringing new skills. Migrants also contribute through their
entrepreneurship by creating new jobs, investment ties, and boosting innovation.
Canada and Canadians can only benefit from other countries improving their own migration management to deter
irregular migration and provide pathways for those who want to migrate regularly. Canada will continue to share best
practices and participate in international and multilateral fora to contribute to these efforts.

In Defence of Professor Ricardo Duchesne, UNB Saint John Campus

heidi.macdonald@unb.ca vpsj@unb.ca my concerns as follows: I am writing to show my support for a true gentleman, scholar and academic at UNB Saint John Campus - Professor Ricardo Duchesne. I was fortunate to meet Ricardo last year. I began following his work in 2014 and spoke on the phone with him back then and encouraged him because I live in a university town and cannot overlook the culture of censorship that goes on here [sackville.com]. I have read two of his books "Faustian Man" and "Canada in Decay" which he kindly signed for me .. and I follow his various authors and articles at his website "Council of European Canadians" over the past five years. I am extremely disappointed to see the "hit pieces" coming out at HuffPost, CBC and Global News calling him a "white supremicist". This is very important to pay attention to because its about defending his character against a "gang of journalists" who do not discuss ideas or facts or information but attack humans .. your university not only has a duty to defend his reputation but to ensure his safety. Duchesne has not and will not use twitter as Matthew Sears does to bully others - Sears blocked me last year on Twitter when I asked him if he had read his colleague's best-selling book "Canada in Decay"... so please .. you need to address the problem that Sears is creating online with his constant attacks and calls of white supremacy and hatred to be directed against Prof. Duchesne. You also need to acknowledge that Duchesne is the best-selling author of "Canada in Decay" and allow him some level of respect for his accomplishments. Duchesne is not boastful or prideful and I know he sets a sober and thoughtful examples for his students. Duchesne shows deep concern for the fate of EuroCanadians and a nation being radically transformed by policy. Please consider the value that Prof. Duchesne is providing to his students... a voice that they do not hear in the usual run of the mill world... Duchesne stands out for his defence of western civilisation in Canada... no small feat in this day and age. Thanks for your consideration.
