Owens Art Gallery - Mount Allison University - Then and Now...

via The Owens Art Gallery Facebook....

" ... was opened in 1895 on the campus of Mount Allison University.

Located in a 19th-century building designed by Toronto architect Edmund Burke, one of Canada’s most important and influential architects, it was originally built to accommodate the teaching of fine arts at the Mount Allison Ladies’ College, and to house a collection of approximately 300 works of art and statuary acquired by Mount Allison in 1893.

The collection has now grown to include 3000 works of art, and the surroundings of the Gallery look a bit different today than pictured!"

Today's campus looks pretty 'concrete' in comparison to those days... its a beautiful historic building.

"People are encouraged to dress up for the event, and the galleries will have red, magenta, and pink KN95 masks available in kids and adult sizes to help keep it festive." - Emily Falvey, minion on the gravy train....

ADVICE FROM GOOD KING JOHN III on face masks in 2020: "Wearing a mask is identifying you as one of the 95% to be killed because you're identified as stupid and not reacting to save your own life; and also wearing a mask is dressing the same as the paedophiles dress when they're raping children; you know what I'm saying? Its so that the paedophiles feel at home surrounded by people in masks." http://kingjohnthethird.uk
