Tantramar Skate Park Project - Newline Skateparks - A Project for the Active Living Youth!

Who builds great Canadian skateparks? Newline Skateparks build great skateparks.. a great skatepark is a work of art .. a sculpted fabulous creation!

Bill Gurney's business card was passed on years ago to Matt Pryde at Parks & Rec. Town Hall.

Maybe Sackville N.B. should build something really amazing in 2025? A new concrete skatepark!

Great pubs don't make a town.. nor do great bookstores.. but great skateparks do ... great skateparks put a town on the map for tourists and adventure seekers.. they make a really great town out of an ordinary town and they make life for the youth living there a whole lot more exciting, fun, enjoyable, social and liveable.  Great mayors, like the one in Kentville Nova Scotia, town councillors, CAOs, staff, tourist managers and parks and rec. leaders also know this truth - those with eyes to see.. and ears to hear.. where they listened to their local families and teens and groups who want to create something worth taking pride in and showcasing in their region.

Our town can do a lot better than this for our youth.

We've been partnered with locally-based Tantramar Landowners since 2015 to promote this park and get the word out by posters and word of mouth to others.
Healthy lifestyles are important and active living for our local youth - this matters.. so I plant needs and I generate interest and public involvement - these things do not build themselves but with enough helpful advocates for the good, we'll do it.
The fact that this concrete skatepark project has been advocated for since the 1980s tells me its time for the people who live here and raise their children here to say its time to do this -- we are not just consumers and shoppers.. we are also active-living advocates.. healthy active children are happier.
