A deadline is approaching for artists interested in participating in a summer video art screening at Struts Gallery in Sackville.

Submissions are being accepted until tomorrow night at midnight.

Struts is inviting artists to submit video work exploring performance-based themes, including body politics, identity, persona, and masquerade, among others.

Organizers say the call is open to a wide range of video-based practices, including experimental and performance-driven work. Selected artists will be paid a screening fee in accordance with the 2026 IMAA Fee Schedule.

The screening is part of Struts’ ongoing programming supporting contemporary and emerging artists in the region.

Artists can find submission details and guidelines through the gallery’s website at https://www.strutsgallery.ca.

The call comes as Struts also works to support its long-term space, having recently launched a fundraising campaign seeking $75,000 to match provincial funding for building repairs. A final fundraising total has not yet been publicly released.
