Bruce Wark Boosts Reactionaries Protesting RIGS Gas Plant Project - Could He Be Adding to The Hysteria?

"Councillor Greene responded that the assistant clerk had also heard the word ‘bomb’.

“And the threats, which I would define them as that, that this will be the next Oka, I did report those concerns to the RCMP as well,” she said.

“Because yes, they have had peaceful protests. They can change quickly and we need to ensure that that does not happen,” she added.

“If people get very upset about a concern or an issue in our community, people can be incited by even a single individual to behave in an inappropriate fashion and we want to ensure that we have good, clear headings moving forward on this and any other issue,” Greene concluded."

Gen X Councillor Greene keeps it real.. and she is actually a really good soul for pointing out the problem with radicals who infiltrate activism groups.. if you are not familiar with this tactic yet I would think watching a documentary on the "Weather Underground" might help you out.. if you are naive that's a problem too.. and since the average age of people in this town is 51 there is no excuse for being ignorant when you have access to the internet... By behaving as angry reactionaries and I have questioned WHY their online group on Facebook is "closed" rather than open and transparent for good reason as they are not forthcoming with their actions, intentions, deeds, and discussions [THAT is a problem] but yet they will complain the government and NB Power are deceptive players -- this protest group of Sackville's "Seniors for Climate" group are well networked and are propagandized by many outside forces and most surely are unable to recognize they are being used as tools -- and they seem to be getting LOTS of boosting by Bruce Wark who does not always publish comments left at his website FYI -- you're actually adding to the noise and provocation rather than keeping calm and listening to more voices.  Greene is correct to caution the public.

I am glad Councillor Greene bothers to speak out as she would have been privileged to hear from many people in our town and region.. and she is also honest enough to tell you what is being said and what concerns her; she has no reason to lie about anything but she is concerned and is speaking up now when it matters.  Dep. Mayor Josh Goguen attempting to diminish Greene's credibility by saying the local protest group is peaceful [they have behaved as an angry mob in the past and yelled in council meetings in the town hall thereby intimidating people including the former Mayor Andrew Black and Deputy Mayor Matt Estabrooks] when Goguen in truth has no idea who is behind the "group" and what they might be capable of and what their tactics in the future might look like.. intimidation certainly plays a role as no one locally would dare speak up in favour of the gas plant at this point for fear of retribution by these organized folks I will call THE MOB .. Goguen is young and very naive and also has in the past been questioned at this blog for running a private and large Facebook group [gossip zone] in our region.  One of the reasons this blog even exists is to counteract the radical greens in this region who dominate the rest and interfere with the local schools organizing "Climate Strikes" and other nonsense.
