Matt Pryde is 100% unaccountable.. hired about a decade ago... he also has the Town Hall "job" of giving away lots and lots of public funds/money to various "community groups" in town at his sole discretion... so why is that? Why does Matt have such an undeserved "privilege" of picking winners and losers in this town of free money grant seekers?

Pryde also hired a friend, sidekick Jamie Ferguson, for a large payday, not so long ago... together they've come up with ridiculous schemes like a "an expensive fenced dog park" at the Ice Rink no one wanted [which thankfully went nowhere].. and a "tree planting with volunteers" initiative now in a park already full of trees.. you know the one .. right? The duo spend time putting photographs on Facebook of trees they've "captured" around town.. and to add to their folly they're also decided we needed to be a "Bee City".. overall they seem to have an agenda all their own.. and zero desire to do the things that are essential in our town... perhaps its time to "cut the fat" at Town Hall .. and simplify the spending on staffing who are happy to do whatever they want to do rather than work for the people of the town.  The fact that they "got thousands of dollars from F.C.M." to do the tree planting initiative should tell you that perhaps FCM is also a problem.. and should be de-funded.  Pryde has also spent time schmoozing in Ottawa at "conferences" and felt compelled to give a consulting company in Alberta $50K+ to write up a "master recreational plan" for him.. his ability to throw money around knows no limits, unless its on something that the people here actually want.

By the way... more out of control spending and babysitting/meddling with children this week.. and its not a programme that's "FREE" if the taxpayers are paying for it Matt Pryde.
