"Cartoonists and satirists in Halifax reacted Wednesday to the murder of their colleagues in Paris.
Andrew Douglas, the editor of Frank magazine, said he and other staff have been threatened as a result of “aggravating” people.
“Of course it hits closer to home. We do controversial stuff. We piss people off all the time,” he said. “We have death threats. Not all the time, but it happens.”

So ... One Wonders What Really Keeps Our Fearless Publisher Andrew Douglas Up At Night Eh?
Losing his social media outreach platforms? They sell a few thousands magazines each month but they also have an online subscription paywall system. The magazine is owned by a multimillionaire in Montreal... but what if they were to lose their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube accounts? {I have lost all of my social media - cancel culture is a real bitch... but I've had to survive here on blogger.... so good thing I don't need the money, tough trying to survive without social media platforms intact eh?}
Paul Palango's articles and intel on his dig into the forensics of the Gabriel Wortman shootings in April 2020 and the RCMP's handling of the case have also kept people interested in Frank Magazine...
I'd say the 'distraction media' is still winning.... the information war.. its a messy racket though.
