“Out of an abundance of caution, to avoid any confusion between my role as a councillor and informal online spaces, I’ve posted a notice on this affected page stepping back as a admin and moderator.” - Josh Goguen, Town Councillor Ward 3 Tantramar 2026 [a little late now Josh]

Instead of playing on Facebook in your free time you could be working towards accomplishing a more constructive goal in the region you were elected in and paid $2,000 per month to work for? Perhaps working on a youth project that's long overdue..  just an idea to think about Josh.

This town has so much unrealized potential.. its all about shaping the future and wise building.

This overlooked and ignored Tantramar Skate Park Project is going to get built in this region.... because I want the local youth to wake up on a Saturday and Sunday morning and head out to play with their skateboards for a day of fun and unstructured play... I will be driven in the coming years to ensure they get this opportunity to play as much as they want to afterschool, through the spring and fall, and all summer long outside in the fresh air and no one is going to stop the forward momentum of this awesome local project.. I will never give up.. I believe in the power of positive thinking, making good on promises made, and doing good projects, not in lazy Town Hall staff and inept politicians who do not deliver... I believe our youths' lives matter in Tantramar.. this is my stated goal:  I will never enter politics.. I will never sell the youth out here... I ignore haters, gossips, petty people, uninspired thinkers, and naysayers... and regardless of all the censorship I have endured online and in the "community" and how much negative attitudes have prevailed against me about this effort-- I really don't care.
Great skateparks make great towns.. shine on skateboarding youth.. you are worthy.
Let's do this..

Mike Tower is a retired liquor store worker and long time town councillor and back in the summer of 2013 he sat and listened to a group of youth presenting in the Town Hall in Sackville who were asking for new concrete skatepark venue.  Tower is not worthy of a vote in the coming election; he did nothing to help them in the last 13 years.. he is an unaccomplished grifter. After a great telephone conversation some years ago with Mayor Sandra Snow in Kentville Nova Scotia I am convinced that with the right group of people advancing efforts this project is worth pursuing in this region.. team builders wanted!
