Mayor Andrew Black is re-offering not as Mayor but for the position of Town Councillor Ward 3 in Tantramar in the election May 11, 2026.

This special meeting dealt with TWO "code of conduct" complaints lodged against current Ward 3 Town Councillor Josh Goguen, and more.  

Josh Goguen is involved with a private online group on Facebook in our town and has been for a number of years as an active administrator which is something he probably should have stepped away from as an elected official here.. instead he could have chose to run a public Facebook page where he can be reached and interact with the public in a transparent way .. just as Mayor Andrew Black does..

There are a few "community concerns" sites in town operating privately online which is a cause of concern in truth because its a place where gossip and lies can fester and rumours can be spread.. and so it adds to the social media misery and stress that we know many people experience online.  I've found life without Facebook is actually much more peaceful and productive.
