No public input wanted or required by this crew of local technocrats... and...
Some concerns have been noted in real life and online at Facebook ...
Kandice CannI have a question. I am in a building with over 300 people every day now. My provincial government says that it's safe (I disagree). Why can't public meetings be held? Why is it still virtual?
Kandice CannThe Town of Sackville, New Brunswick I'm just saying, our teachers are in classrooms with 25 to 28 students and no distancing. They bravely go, each day for the kids. I'm sure it could be safely arranged for in person council meetings.
The Town of Sackville, New BrunswickKandice Cann Our Council discussed returning to in-person meetings at our August Regular Council meeting on August 10, 2020, where there was a consensus to continue with virtual meetings for the time being. We continue to monitor the pandemic situation closely and can re-evaluate things in weeks and months ahead.
