Mount Allison University is 
sharing a COVID-19 Update.
New Brunswick Public Health has informed the University that the positive case of COVID-19 announced earlier today has been confirmed as a variant.
As a result, Public Health requires that all non-essential in-person student and public activities at Mount Allison be cancelled for the time being.
Public Health has indicated that scheduled in-person classes may go ahead with the precautions that are currently in place, including mandatory masks, physical distancing, hand sanitizing, and frequent sanitization of work and study spaces.
Public Health has also requested that members of the Mount Allison community limit their non-essential activities as much as possible at this time and leave home only for classes, work, and necessary errands.
