I have lived in many cities and travelled to most cities in all of Canada and I'd say that:1. Metro Moncton has a population of 144,000 so it is easily a city, and not a tiny town.2. Public Transport is great here but you can get around on foot if you live and work downtown3. Job demand in most sectors are way up, we don't have nearly enough skilled workers for most of our industries, it is certainly Not restricted to the three you named.4. We have high speed internet, even in rural areas, Rogers covers huge parts of those.5. Average cost of a home is around 250k, but yeah, still affordableFrom someone who lives here, I'd say the real downsides are:1. Insanely low vacancy rates2. Rising costs of homes3. Homelessness4. Double property taxes for secondary homes or rental units5. Low wages
