Housing: renting or owning... they both have their benefits and disadvantages... what is concerning is how many people make other peoples' living arrangements into their business... are you paying attention here yet? I don't suppose people on Facebook ever wonder if perhaps the housing shortage and scarcity here was manufactured... that might be asking too much... they do seem quite convinced that pissing and moaning online actually does something though.
The problem is that university students don't use campus housing when they can stay off campus instead... so really the problem was created by the university... perhaps the university should be helping solve the problem they created here in this small town? Perhaps the policy should be that students visiting Sackville to 'study' must remain on the campus in their university allotted housing? Simple fix for a problem some are making complicated here.... and of course, their desire to rent housing off campus creates demand for housing and landlords are 'capitalizing' on that.. but when you consider how many people are happy to take money and generate profits off the students [such as the university administration] is it any wonder that the people in the town who hold properties are hoping to do the same?

Universities are lucrative charities ~ lest we forget how their whole racket here is run:
A group here making demands of government is just part of the nannystate agenda... best avoided.
You can bet dollars to donuts that they're big fans of their guy Saul Alinsky's mantra and method of 'agitate, organize, educate' [they lack originality]
