I love to listen in to these chats... and this is a great example of a "managerial mind" prattling on about "community" and growing business here... its laughable. Keep in mind that Pendurthi is not a business owner but more importantly she is also naive about how "democracy" [Greg Martin is deputy Mayor but in the process he received no votes at all, does that sound like a voice of the people?] isn't happening at this point... but its not for me to educate a young professional banker who has been university educated ... is it?
As someone who has been active in attempting for 10 years to get the youth their concrete skatepark project to happen I can tell you that nothing happens here unless the "cult's herd" approves of it.
