9/11 - Jules Naudet "Higher Quality" Raw Video and Sound Clips

The most powerful aspect of this footage is seeing the names on some of the fire fighters jackets and appreciating their composure. Battalion chief McGovern seen at 3.26 looking in the few seconds of frame, very much a composed and strong leader briefing his team. He would lose his life in Tower 1.

Battalion Chief Joe Phifer's younger brother Lt. Kevin Phifer can also be seen in this footage, as well as Battalion chief Orio Plamer. Both caught on camera here for the last time.

The Chief’s brother died in the second collapse, while he hopped over Jules to protect him from the debris

Thank you for uploading. Just to add context to some folks who watch this. When they're in the lobby you can hear a those loud bangs. Often times people watching mistake them for explosions but they're actually jumpers hitting the ground. In particular that side of the North Tower had a covered VIP car port you can see in some shots. Many jumpers landed on it and the top of the car port has like glass and the shattering glass sound is some of them hitting that. It's estimated over 200 people jumped, the reason they pause like that and get quiet is because all the fire fighters know what the sound is and each bang they hear is a life ending.

No wonder people thought secondary explosions were going off. The sound of those people hitting the ground from 80+ floors up is awful.

Seeing the father priest firefighter praying and in disbelief, knowing that the just the smoke and fog of the tower collapsed killed him . Imagine the debris doing damage to the people running away
