Come by Struts Gallery and learn how to make hand dipped candles with Open Studio Artist in Residence Sarah Houle. In the Indigenous tradition of gifting an object when learning a new skill, workshop participants will make two candles and are encouraged to gift one to someone in their life. Participants will also come away with step-by-step guidelines so that they can explore candle making in their home kitchens.
RSVP by June 27 admin@strutsgallery.ca with subject line “Candle Making”. Advance sign up is required so that we can stock materials.
Every workshop attendee will get a free Métis fry bread taco starting at noon as part of the regular Struts BBQ.
The workshop will be held outside of Struts, weather permitting.
If it’s inside, masks will be required

In other good news in Ontario this fall the return of "cursive writing skills" to the classroom for students... I like this.
Burgers on Fridays... All Summer.
Why this gallery is still promoting the face masks is my question... no one answers because everyone is still living in fear.. that's why this town is more like a cult most times.
[I'll just keep poking at the cult members.]
