October Pride Day 2015.... Pride 2023 the Extended Play and Marilyn Lerch Honoured

First "Pride Day" October 2015 pre-Federal election [photography from Indie Media Eastcoast]

Nine years of "pride" in
a small university town
on the Eastcoast...
Saturday sees the return
of "Pride" on campus and
 in town gathering 2023...
check with MASU for updates
and weather cancellation etc.

This week sees
the addition of a plaque for
Marilyn Lerch and two others...
to the Sackville Arts Wall

Marilyn Lerch was born in 1936
in Indiana, USA..

Lerch has been an active member of PFLAG Canada
an organization that supports the rights of members of the LGBTQ community*

Lerch's spouse is Janet Hammock
who is also on the
Sackville Arts Wall..
and a QEII award winner...

perhaps their two plaques be located
side by side?

Marilyn Lerch is an advocate against capitalism and
opposes shale gas
"fracking" - pictured above in 2014 where she was collecting donations
and giving information on "fracking"
at the town of Sackville's Farmers Market.

At the "Pride" event in October 2015
Matt declined to be photographed

I have not attended
a "Pride" event
since that time...

"Non-Reactive, Attention, Acceptance,
Acknowledgement" - Greg Hallett

What goals are you setting for the future?
How do you plan to get there?
Set your intention.
Keep pushing.
Don't let setbacks like
being deleted by Facebook
and Youtube stop you.
Be unstoppable.

The dominant boomers here and their
progressive cult will eventually
become a bad memory of the past.
We will patiently await that time...

The people who you are told are the 'community builders and leaders' aren't really as important as we are led to believe they are... in fact.. most times they stand in the way of progress here with their cliquey-ness and closed-mindedness:

Erica Butler chatted with the 3 newest plaques folks.... at this link:
