The church is irreplaceable... a big loss for Toronto.
Dear members,
I’m deeply sorry to say that our church got on fire this morning. I know this is devastating news for all of you. I invite you to join me for prayer and counseling at St. Mary Magdalene church at 477 Manning Ave, Toronto ON from 1pm to 3pm today on June 9th.

St. Anne's Anglican Church in Toronto, Ontario - Home of the great dome of the Byzantine Revival, murals by Canada's Group of Seven, operettas by Gilbert & Sullivan, and a diverse community in Toronto's rapidly changing westend. We hike, sing, pray for our neighbourhood, serve a monthly community dinner, and worship God every Sunday in a glorious celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The words of Jesus circle the dome above us: "Come to me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."
Our Mission Statement: "We are a welcoming community of Anglican Christians who gather at historic St. Anne's Church to worship God richly through liturgy, music and the arts. We are committed to openness, justice and loving our neighbour. Individually and together in ministry, we strive to grow into our Spirit-given potential to embody Christ's healing purpose for the world."
A sentence comes to my mind as I am in all honesty a non-religious type... "worship the Creator not the Creation."
