Committee of the Whole meeting of Council - June 23, 2025 - Municipality of Tantramar

Town Hall staffer Matt "Net Zero Zealot" Pryde advises that his fundraiser campaign for the new seating project at the Tantramar Veterans Arena is progressing well.  Pryde has not commented on the progress of the Tantramar Skate Park Project [again] which was initially advocated for by a local youth group in town council chambers in the summer of 2013... and was earmarked for $600,000 in a recent budget presentation in town hall.

The local skateboarding youth in this town are badly overlooked and neglected by the over-paid town hall staffers... in particular Matt Pryde.  Surely after 10+ years on the job in parks and recreation it wouldn't be that difficult to get on with this "ask"?

Mr. Taylor, our newest town hall staffer, advised us that the old tourist information centre in Aulac was recently demolished and this was despite the Town of Tantramar attempting to acquire that property -- the Aulac A-Frame Tourism building was last spotted in this video shown below from THE Indie Media Eastcoast Youtube.

RCMP recommend people take the time to lock up their cars and their homes to help prevent break-ins and thefts from occurring.. as well note the addition of their body worn cameras.
