'You against nature a little bit': An outdoor art festival reshapes Parrsboro
"It basically is a celebration of our community and of the generous landscape beauty that we have here in the Parrsboro area," Fuller told CBC Radio's Mainstreet Nova Scotia.
The festival is a project of Parrsboro Creative, an organization launched to boost the local cultural economy.
Fuller said the initial goal was to "rescue the town from its slide into a post-industrial wasteland."
Organizers looked to the area's raw beauty. Today, it stands as the only Canadian stop on a larger international circuit."
