Why Peaceful Nudging in a Town of Sleepers is the Best Tactic #NonAggressionPrincipal #Libertarianism

Why Bruno says the Tantramar Skate Park Project is a non-starter:  "no one wants to work with you".

The reality is that no one wants to get off gossipy Facebook long enough to lend a hand and actually spend their precious free time to advocate this project get built by the well-paid town hall staffers who are ignoring its advancement for well over a decade even though this project is the epitomy of constructive work that will have a long-lasting and positive impact on youth for decades to come.

Deputy Mayor Josh Goguen has a full time job at Moneris and finds time to kvetch about his solar panel array to the CBC, monitor his large Facebook group that's "private" here:  Facebook

and fundraise for a Scouts trip over to Europe.

Skate youth have no allies on the Town Hall side.. believe me I have looked long and hard for them.

But, hey nice cope there Bruno... I see you.

You could include apathetic, although nudged multiple times, Matt Pryde who hangs out in Ottawa to schmooze and wine and dine on the public's money, and has created his own office down at the Ice Rink to be away from the Town Hall staffers with his very own Facebook page joining forces with his friend and newer hire Jamie Ferguson.. together they aim on planting more trees, saving bees, talking up "net zero" nonsense, installing an unreliable electric zambonie.. and generally pretending that their "Parks & Rec" job is to babysit bored townsfolks at organized events, attempt to build a fenced dog park no one wants, and feverishly fundraise and put in unnecessary seating in the 20+ year old ice rink building, but ignore the much-needed requirement of an elevator for disabled folks.. in other words, they are a law unto themselves with no supervision who generally goof off rather than focus and get down to work on this long overdue concrete skatepark project... I'm just the messenger.. and my job isn't to work unpaid for this Town..

But I do enjoy the noticings all the same.
