Great Barrington Declaration https://gbdeclaration.org/
music: Lakota - Joni Mitchell
Lyrics
I am Lakota
Lakota
Looking at money man
Diggin' the deadly quotas
Out of balance
Out of hand
We want the land
Lay down the reeking ore
Don't you hear the shrieking in the trees?
Everywhere you touch the earth, she's sore
Every time you skin her, all things weep
Your money mocks us
Restitution, what good can it do?
Kenneled in metered boxes
Red dogs in debt to you
I am Lakota
Lakota
Fighting among ourselves
All we can say with one whole heart
Is we won't sell
No, we'll never sell
We want the land
The lonely coyote calls
In the woodlands, footprints of the deer
In the barrooms, poor drunk bastard falls
In the courtrooms, deaf ears, sixty years
You think we're sleeping but
Quietly, like rattlesnakes and stars
We have seen the trampled rainbows
In the smoke of cars
I am Lakota
Brave
Sun, pity me
I am Lakota
Broken
Moon, pity me
I am Lakota
Graves
Shadows stretching
Lakota
Oh, pity me
I am Lakota
Weak
Grass, pity me
I am Lakota
Faithful
Rocks, pity me
I am Lakota
Meek
Standing water
Lakota
Oh, pity me
I am Lakota
Lakota
Standing on sacred land
We never sold these Black Hills
To the missile-heads
To the power plants
We want the land
The bullet and the fence, broke Lakota
The black coats and the booze, broke Lakota
Courts that circumvent, choke Lakota
Nothing left to lose
Tell me grandfather
You spoke the fur and feather tongues
Do you hear the whimpering waters
When the tractors come?
I am Lakota
Brave
Sun, pity me
I am Lakota
Broken
Moon, pity me
I am Lakota
Slaves
Shadows stretching
Lakota
Oh, pity me
I am Lakota
Weak
Grass, pity me
I am Lakota
Faithful
Rocks, pity me
I am Lakota
Meek
Standing water
Lakota
Oh, pity me
Sun, pity me
Mother earth
Mother
Moon, pity me
Father sky
Father
Shadows
Stretching on the forest floor
Mother earth
Oh, pity me
Father sky
Father
Grass, pity me
Mother earth
Mother
Rocks, pity me
Father sky
Father
Water
Standing in a waken manner
Mother earth
Oh, pity me
Father sky
Father
Sun, pity me
Mother earth
Mother
Moon, pity me
Father sky
Father
Shadows
Stretching on the forest floor
Mother earth
Oh, pity me

21 deaths in a population of 777,000 does not and never will be cause for the declaration of pandemic.  Blaine Higgs committed fraud on the people of New Brunswick last year when he declared a State of Emergency.
Higgs will be held to account for his actions
as will Jennifer Russell, in due course.
Until the public understands that this illness is being used as a tool for abuse nothing will change.
A covid taskforce was instituted to perpetuate the abuse and to gaslight the people of this region.
Those people will also be held to account for their actions - including Megan Mitton MLA, David McKellar military operative and Rotary President and Carolle de St. Croix Mount Allison Alumni Executive and Green Party Provincial Executive
as well as media propagandists Erica Butler, Meg Cunningham, and station manager James Anderson at CHMA FM 106.9 fm website,
and all local politicians and all town hall staffers..
including CAO Jamie Burke
and Tourism Manager Ron Kelly-Spurles.

They have been put on notice numerous times to cease and desist their actions which are psychological terrorism and abuse of the population of Tantramar.
Justice will be served.
The sooner this fraud is widely acknowledged
the better for everyone and life will be
returned to the old normal. Guaranteed.

Young people mean well perhaps but they are not informed about larger discussions taking place.. please consider this friendly advice from your elders in town who do actually care about you… http://gbdeclaration.org The Great Barrington Declaration concerns scholars and academics.. perhaps its time you considered yourselves part of that conversation.

CHMA censoring commentary is unacceptable.

Humans walking around in face diapers is a low point in our society.

I see people making it into a fashionable thing which is creepy.  I think the youth should get involved now in questioning what their fearful elders obediant to the technocracy are dictating... those in authority will be held accountable for their deeds.. as will 'covid taskfarce' propagandists.

Featured some vintage CHMA 2012 video with Kevin Brasier a while back on here at ..

Today marks the official first day Kevin Brasier moves into the CHMA Programming Director position! Congratulations Kevin, we're lucky to have you and you make CHMA better with everything you do!

Kevin Brasier

I have seized the opportunity to become CHMA's Program Director on an ongoing basis. Here's a personal note about my time with CHMA. This non profit organization had a really important role in shaping the person I am today. I had never really 'volunteered' much before engaging with CHMA at the age of 23 (24?). Volunteering always seemed like something you kind of reluctantly had to do....and your time was better spent working. That all changed when I started on with CHMA - first as a programmer, and then as their Stereophonic music festival coordinator. I realized that there was, at the very least, a 1:1 relationship of getting back whatever work I put in. In my case, CHMA gave me back 2 or 3 times more than what I put in. "Getting back what?" Well. I was provided with training in broadcasting, podcasting, engineering, web, writing, journalism, grant writing... skills that have helped me through my entire life. So many important conversations have emerged about organizations basically exploiting young people's labour, under the guide of volunteering. I think the reason why volunteering with CHMA can be so beneficial to people in Sackville, and young people in particular, is that we have a mandate to offer our volunteers SO MUCH training. So if you consider yourself an artist or creator, consider the above training opportunities and ask yourself how often you can roll into a neat studio and have folks eagerly take the time to give you professional training, in exchange for say, hosting a weekly radio show. Or tabling an event. Okay this got a bit tangential. What I'm trying to say is that I'm really happy that I can have this relationship with CHMA right now. I'm so happy to be a support and mentor for our volunteers. I'm excited to be a fan of their radio shows, and annoy all my friends by just talking about how amazing CHMA is right now, all the time. I know it's a pretty different year here in Sackville, but that doesn't mean we can't do some incredible work together in the community. I feel like CHMA has a big role in making that happen. I am very grateful to be CHMA's program director 💋

  • Peter Robert Brown Congratulations, Kevin. I'm glad things worked this way.

Feel free to message your local non-elected town councillors with any and all concerns you have.

Have advised candidate for mayor Shawn Mesheau to look into the Great Barrington Declaration... will he do it?  Does he have the courage to be ethical?

You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.... if reasonable people do not speak up we will be left to be dictated to by unreasonable ones..

What is the Great Barrington Declaration? An initiative for humanity

 https://gbdeclaration.org/

A global initiative for the good of humanity...

The Great Barrington Declaration – As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.

Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.

Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.

As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e.  the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent PCR testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.

On October 4, 2020, this declaration was authored and signed in Great Barrington, United States, by:

Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations.

Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.
