The tendency locally seems to be by some to selectively villify plastic... but the reality is this is one of the most amazing human achievements we all benefit from.

The only thing better than plastic is recycled plastic!

"Earth with plastic!"

So why ban these materials we utilize? Control freakery mostly stemming from ignorance.

Its good to think well of the usefulness of plastic
as a human achievement.
If you ever have the chance to visit the UK's "Eden Project" their gift shop is huge and features all sorts of useful items made from recycled plastics and other materials... its located in an old clay pit re-invented into amazing gardens, exhibits and human friendly educational spaces.. especially loved the exhibit on Industrial Hemp... found in beautiful Cornwall in the south west of England and I highly recommend it!

I was fortunate enough to visit The Eden Project in Cornwall in June 2010 -- I recommend parents take their children there instead of a Disney-type vacation.

Plastic is a part of the lifestyle we know and love... its useful.. and randomly 'banning' some plastics is just ludicrous 'activism'. Recycling is a huge opportunity to tap into untapped resources.
Thanks to Dave's Rock Emporium for display of plastic in varied colours... hopefully people have a conversation about this topic of new technology, creative recycling, and real productive work...

Pulling together and using ideas and innovations is what will help humanity -- complaining about things and demanding things are banned is fascistic activity - is that the legacy you aspire to? Why?
"Never mind the bollocks" and continue celebrate plastic in your life. It may seem the unpopular position but it is the right position...

Young people should be educated about Bucky Fuller instead of David Suzuki - I have no idea why they are not taught about Bucky's life and work unless their Agenda is to dumb them down?
