University of Toronto - White Students' Union - Facebook

Just in case anyone is still in denial about our city's/university's need for a white students' union. When the majority and founding ethnocultural demographic of our country is singled out and ostracized for wanting the same right as any other group to freely associate with other members of its own community in order to engage with issues of shared interest or concern, to celebrate our rich heritage, to promote our culture and to advocate for our community's interests within the broader student body and society, and no reason is given other than the bald assertion without evidence that such activity constitutes "supremacy", while any other ethnocultural group is not only rightly accepted and welcomed in the campus social landscape but encouraged and celebrated for its activities, it is difficult to conclude that anything other than race-based hostility or hatred of Eurocanadian and other white students is the reason for the double standard.

There is no requirement that has been established in the tradition of campus ethnocultural associations which says that in order to be permitted to partcipate in forming such an organization one's community must meet certain arbitrary and nebulous criteria set forth by self-appointed enforcers of correct belief and opinion regarding the relative degree of advantage or disadvantage, earned or otherwise, however defined, that the said group possesses in relation to other ethnocultural groups in the host society or the world at large. Such a requirement would not only be preposterously unjust on its face and laughably impractical to implement in anything approaching a manner of fairness, but would also serve no function other than to suppress and exclude specifically whichever race or ethnic community which those currently wielding administrative or grassroots mobilization power deem to be their political enemies, or, perhaps more truthfully, the object of their irrational and despicable hatred.
