Mr. Gordon Beal was singled out and beaten up financially by a thuggish mafia presence that exists in this university-dominated town, with a palace town hall and controlling campus culture at the university, and as well as by 'planning commission' minion Lori Bickford who wields a lot of power as an unelected regional 'overlord' here. Instead of supporting efforts to develop housing they all actively worked against Beal's lovely 131 Main Street housing project ... why? Don't we need more housing? Why not support the projects instead of fine people thousands $$?
131 Main Street Sackville New Brunswick is for sale. Old historic building was the property of the late Gordon Hallet Beal who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 87 years old. Price $999,999 Agent: Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic realtors.

Tantramarshire was been taken over by zealots for U.N. Agenda 2030 sustainable development that allow ONLY preferred smartgrowth developments and enforce draconian measures using their many indoctrinated planners, bureaucrats, technocrats, local various town councillors, various mayors, CAO, town hall staffer, ever vocal 'community leaders' and other busy-bodies operating behind the scenes here such as but not limited to the meddling social engineering and anti-development/anti-industry Michael Fox, a professor at their climate change obsessed university... read more here:

"Jamie Burke, CAO for the town of Sackville, says the town is, “thrilled with the outcome and cost award.”
Jamie Burke is clearly a sadistic, power-hungry minion who should be 'fired' for his incredibly bad judgment of picking on senior citizen Beal.
This year will see some very big changes to this region and another election - read more at this link from local Bruce Wark's Wark Times:
Many players had seen fit to target senior citizen Gordon Beal's efforts by killing his development project at 131 Main Street. In the end he was fined many many thousands of dollars by the local thugs.
This unGodly behaviour is not a good look for our town.
Mr. Gordon Beal was a wealthy man in his 80s who came up against the dictatorship known as technocracy who actively blocked his right to develop his property or even use it to generate rental income -- which as a landowner was absolutely his right to do.

That's how this town culture seems to operate and if you're not in their U.N. agenda communitarian club of right thinking all for the "community" types you will not be able to operate and definitely this is a clear case of that.. Niki Raapana wrote about all of this with her experiences in the 90s in Seattle with her landlord/developer /// lots to read her blogger in Alaska @ http://nikiraapana.blogspot.com
The 'community' is obviously something to consider especially if the 'community' does not approve of Mr. Beal in the first place...

This Beal development would have been a welcome quality addition to the downtown and its design was attractive and appealing... would have been Mr. Beal's legacy project...
As Kathy Beal rightly stated on behalf of her father:
“I don’t understand why they’re not giving us a permit…but there are other builders in town who have carte blanche,” a reference to council’s approval for a multi-unit development by JN Lafford Realty Inc. on Waterfowl Lane next to the park.

Artist’s drawing of proposed apartment building behind the existing Georgian mansion at 131 Main Street. Sackville Town Council rejected the project in 2014
Some commentary...
Percy Best says:
Is this a final chance for our Town Council members to redeem themselves before the next municipal election takes place? It is certainly a very attractive building and coordinated with the historical Fisher home in a very tucked away place.
How would it ever be possible that ‘OUR’ town management would again condemn the construction of this ideal seniors residence? Perhaps a negative Council outcome would clearly demonstrate that the various Sackville developers are still not on a level playing field.

[Sackville developer Gordon Beal had suggested he may try for a third time to win approval for a three-storey, 18-unit apartment building behind the historic Allison/Fisher/Fawcett House at 131 Main Street.]
