Thinking back to my highschool years I always remember the 'drama club folks' as being weird:
"Live Bait Theatre is Holding OPEN AUDITION for a Play to be Performed in May 2023
Live Bait Theatre will be holding auditions on December 10 from 10 am to 2 pm for roles in “The Last Flight To Enceladus”, a new play by Sue Rose
To audition:
- Prepare a 2 minute monologue (memorization not required).
- Book a time to audition (also if you can't make times on December 10) by contacting Live Bait Theatre at info@livebaittheatre.com.
We are Looking for 3 adult women and 2 adult men, various ages. All actors will be paid an honorarium. Play will be performed in May of 2023.
About the play:
It’s the year 2054. Jessie, a young marine biologist, is ready to board a flight to join her fiancé Griffin at a research station on one of the moons of Saturn. Still mourning the death of her father in an accident on Antarctica, she is determined to start a new life with Griffin away from the dying oceans of earth. As Jessie spends her last hours at Mission Control anxiously preparing for her trip, she is confronted by past relationships and unfinished business. As the line between reality and fantasy blurs, Jessie fights for her sanity, and for her place on the last flight to Enceladus."
