"If there were cars that released cyanide or radiation, using them would not be “a choice for individuals to make” it would be a matter of public safety. The same is true of fossil fuels. Their use is so prevalent that they will have to be gradually phased out, not suddenly stopped, but they do have to stop being used eventually.

It’s a fact that fossil fuel carbon emissions are damaging the environment, health, and the economy. People shouldn’t be stigmatized for still relying on fossil fuels, they should be encouraged to make better choices, given incentives to change, and given practical options. But we will either change or suffer more and more wildfires, droughts, failed crops, coastal erosion, species extinction, failing fisheries, economic losses, larger storms, etc etc. No amount of “green cultist” slurs are going to change the reality that pumping fossil carbon into the air is disruptive, damaging, and causing global warming."

"I just have been handing out cards for people that show them that there are in fact lots of things that are driving the ever-changing climate.. "the 22 climate drivers" and I've done posters as well.. so I hope that has planted seeds for people to use their brains.. and I hope people use discernment when it comes to the reality of abundance and resources vs. the scarcity myth and fear-mongering about fossil fuels which you appear happy to promote Jon.  Why?  Did you get your education at Mount Allison University? How much money did you pay them to indoctrinate your brain into thinking the way that you do? I could recommend reading Dr. Tim Ball's books and also "Technocracy Rising" by Patrick Wood who runs the website technocracy.news .. I am almost always trying to counteract the people in the region who will not discuss the problems with SMARTgrid promotion and think its "green" to save the planet but in fact its green enslavement. ie. UN Agenda 2030 [so it shouldn't surprise people that this university-dominated town flies the UN flag.. should it?]"

Renewable energy from wind turbines & solar arrays may be the costliest misjudgment in human history - coal, oil & gas are still providing around 85% of global energy & coal production is at record levels. Trillions have been spent on the renewables experiment, much of it in the form of government subsidies, yet it provides less than 15% of world energy, half of which is from established hydro. The cost of the complete renewables package including new power cables is estimated at $178 trillion. Net Zero could signal the economic collapse of much of the modern world because wind & solar are not universally feasible or wanted without fossil fuel backup. There has been several decades of research and development into wind & solar since the oil crises of the 1970s spurred the idea wind & solar technology alternatives to fossil fuels. This period saw the emergence of larger, multi-megawatt wind turbines and the beginnings of grid-connected solar power. But the costs are staggering. Turbines are massive & most won't last 20 years when they must be decommissioned & replaced. Solar lasts only a few more years. Renewable energy is far costlier & more unreliable. The entire transition has been marked by United Nations distortion of climate science & a clamp down on concerns over the rationale behind such a colossal change in energy. There is no clear science that proves modest temperature rises over 160 years is caused by human activity or if it is even possible that CO₂ is changing the climate.
