CHMA FM and Bruce Wark have covered local activist Ashley Legere's housing problem along with others...
Ashley Legere, who commutes to Moncton for work, is on Instagram and states during the presentation in Town Hall on May 2nd that "there are a lot of big brains" here in Sackville... but I think the problem is about "supply/demand" here... not brains and most people don't care about an issue if it does not affect them.. that's the truth.. if landlords in Sackville want to rent their properties to students and not families that is their choice.
Having personally experienced an 'ejection' by a landlord in the winter here in 2011 and being forced into a new expensive housing arrangement I do feel for Ashley's situation and others but there is nothing to be gained from appealing to government to fix your personal problems.. that's not their concern.
