Tantramar's Voter Apathy a Factor in Election 2024 Outcome?

Bruce Wark reports on the win for Megan in 2024.

An interesting outcome and the large number of people who didn't vote [3169] made for a clear win for Megan Mitton Green MLA with 2468 votes.  Green Party managed to hang on to two seats - Megan Mitton and leader David Coon in Fredericton.  This year's election with Susan Holt "Team Holt" took 31 seats and Blaine Higgs lost his riding with Conservatives taking just 16 seats.  Locally Donna Allen made history as the first woman to run as a Libertarian Party of New Brunswick candidate in the riding of Tantramar with 57 votes.  A great start for the liberty-loving new age in New Brunswick no doubt.

Thanks everyone who participated in this vote.

Keep an open mind and open heart with each other out there and remember that in the end we're all New Brunswickers.. nevermind the politics.

Fun fact:  LEGO is Danish for 'play well'
