MLA Megan Mitton deleted her X account ..

curiously....

What reason did she give for removing her X account?

"Dear X" has been missing from the landscape for many years..  just sayin...

I’m very concerned about the declining literacy scores we’re seeing in NB classrooms. NB’s PISA scores were 34 to 36 points lower in math, science, and reading compared to the rest of Canada. While I’m glad to see that the Holt government rolled back some of the AI curriculum they had planned, encouraging AI in classrooms while cutting library jobs is a step in the wrong direction for literacy. Right now, we need to support students and teachers with the right resources in our classrooms to provide a high-quality, inclusive education for every student."

CBC reports on MLA payday increase here:

Megan's quest for an "inclusive education" is typical word salad from a politician.. and as always I remain unimpressed.

So, where is the opposition in Tantramar to Megan Mitton's advocacy? Is there any?

Special Council Meeting - September 28, 2026 - Municipality of Tantramar - Deputy Mayor Josh Goguen Presiding

Allegations, complaints & codes of conduct seem to be clogging up their agenda.. with the blind leading the blind... eh?

Clown world local politics... who is driving their clown bus in 2026? The 'bureaucrats', of course.

Josh Goguen stumbles through another whacky episode in the Town Hall today... with the latest witch-hunt and harassment of duly elected Mayor Debbie Wiggins-Colwell with the support/help of Town Councillors Alison Butcher, Tori Weldon, Kristen LeBlanc [unelected/acclaimed], and Josh Goguen... its really not a good look for our politics here.

Mayor Debbie Wiggins-Colwell was not in attendance at this 'special' meeting here...

Town Councillors Barry Hicks, Wayne Wells, and Alyssa Greene all raised some key points about the complaint in question, the "complainer" and its inappropriateness which Bruce Wark has also covered at his local website here:

Tantramar council dismisses Code of Conduct complaint against Mayor Wiggins-Colwell with little discussion and no debate |

Town Councillor Alyssa Greene suggested a "closed session" should take place to discuss matters.. Greene is on Facebook:

Town Councillor Tori Weldon posts on X here:

ToriWeldon on X: "On a personal note, Friday is my last day at CBC NB when I'll be reading the afternoon news on @ShiftNB. Thank you to everyone I've had the honour to work with, interview and generally bother over the last 10 years. To my family, thank you for putting up with the craziness." / X

Staffers at Town Hall Chris Hill and Jennifer Borne also attempted to explain why the "complainer" is protected and anonymous which is a big waste of time and a crock of shit.  Why bureaucrats that are not elected to office and apparently have nothing better to do with their time in our town are advancing the complaints of unhappy individuals defies any logic unless of course there is an agenda to muzzle any Mayors who are not totally anti-oil and gas and industry.. but that couldn't be, could it?

Pathetic.

Also duly noted this week MLA Megan Mitton of the Green Party duly elected to represent Tantramar since 2018 in the Fredericton Legislature has deleted her account on X.  Megan is paid $93K per year to work for the people of Tantramar and apparently that now doesn't include her X account on social media but does include her Instagram and Facebook accounts.. funny how that works huh?

Mitton is making a run for "leader" of the Greens.

Memo to readers:  not everyone here is anti-oil and gas and pipelines in our country.. some of us would rather see our population, rather than Saudi Arabia, enriched by developing resources in our own country.. hate on us all you want to.. we would prefer you protesting Saudi Oil.. eh?

Tantramar & Mount Allison University Pride Celebrations This Week on Campus and in Town 2026

Our Prez "Suthy" a force for good .. here:  Ian Sutherland - Mount Allison University | LinkedIn

" Tantramar is with Mount Allison University and

2 others
.

16h
You know what's fabulous? A community that comes together to celebrate each other.
That's exactly what happened on September 21 at the pride flag raising and parade event, attended by university students, Mount Allison President and Vice‑Chancellor Dr. Ian Sutherland, many area organizations and dozens of community members.
Pride flags are now up at Mount Allison campus and Tantramar's municipal building, with pride-themed events taking place across many businesses throughout the coming days. A big thank you to all who attended, as well as organizers from Mount Allison Students' Union and Tantramar's Active Living and Culture.
Happy Pride, Tantramar 🌈🏳️‍🌈✌️"

Inclusive Pride means those who are struggling too.

DeTransition Awareness is real so let's not ignore it.

Let's make all voices welcome... thank you.

DeTrans Awareness Day was established in 2021 to honour the experiences of detransitioners--people who previously identified as transgender but later reversed or stopped their transition--and to bring attention to the perceived risks associated with gender ideology and medical interventions such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries.  More here:  Detrans Awareness Day 2026 — Genspect

It takes courage to be the voice
of reason..
in unreasonable times..
perhaps there are more courageous
people out there..
I hope so..
especially in our healthcare system..
Bill Evans, Chair
and Bruno,

Y'all we covered Pride on campus and in our town since 2015 when the very first gathering and celebrations en masse took place.. it was huge.

McGill Uni - Martin Mei Hub City Property & Green MLA Megan Mitton - Change Agents

Video added to Odysee and Bitchute today at THE Indie Media Eastcoast channel..

The blog "No Snow in Moscow" has some worthwhile reading as well, here:

This week with "leader" and local "change agent" Megan "McGill" Mitton MLA on Facebook:

Eight years ago, I ran for office because I felt the urgency to address the healthcare and climate crises, and now more than ever, we need leaders who will act to safeguard the health and safety of New Brunswickers, and bring fairness and affordability to our economy.
That is why today, I am announcing that I am seeking the leadership of the Green Party of New Brunswick, with a vision for our province where New Brunswickers are at the heart of every decision. A New Brunswick with practical solutions for a better energy grid, better access and prevention in healthcare, and social and economic justice. A New Brunswick where climate action is prioritized as a way to strengthen and sustain our province for generations to come.
I submitted my application this week to the leadership committee and will officially become a registered leadership contestant once the vetting is complete. I look forward to keeping you updated as this process unfolds."
