If you've been following this blogger for years you'd know that local news reporting is alive and well here -- the problem for the university folks is that its not "vetted" or "approved" news.. is it? Ideas and discussions are always worthwhile and stimulating when you have no collar and leash on your free speech.. that's something the university folks can never claim to be:  "off leash".  Pity.
