Josh Goguen stumbles through another whacky episode in the Town Hall today... with the latest witch-hunt and harassment of duly elected Mayor Debbie Wiggins-Colwell with the support/help of Town Councillors Alison Butcher, Tori Weldon, Kristen LeBlanc [unelected/acclaimed], and Josh Goguen... its really not a good look for our politics here.
Mayor Debbie Wiggins-Colwell was not in attendance at this 'special' meeting here...
Town Councillors Barry Hicks, Wayne Wells, and Alyssa Greene all raised some key points about the complaint in question, the "complainer" and its inappropriateness which Bruce Wark has also covered at his local website here:

Staffers at Town Hall Chris Hill and Jennifer Borne also attempted to explain why the "complainer" is protected and anonymous which is a big waste of time and a crock of shit. Why bureaucrats that are not elected to office and apparently have nothing better to do with their time in our town are advancing the complaints of unhappy individuals defies any logic unless of course there is an agenda to muzzle any Mayors who are not totally anti-oil and gas and industry.. but that couldn't be, could it?

Also duly noted this week MLA Megan Mitton of the Green Party duly elected to represent Tantramar since 2018 in the Fredericton Legislature has deleted her account on X. Megan is paid $93K per year to work for the people of Tantramar and apparently that now doesn't include her X account on social media but does include her Instagram and Facebook accounts.. funny how that works huh?
Mitton is making a run for "leader" of the Greens.
Memo to readers: not everyone here is anti-oil and gas and pipelines in our country.. some of us would rather see our population, rather than Saudi Arabia, enriched by developing resources in our own country.. hate on us all you want to.. we would prefer you protesting Saudi Oil.. eh?
