In her infamous Spring of 2019 article published at "The Argosy" student newspaper here in town [ a clipping of which was forwarded to retired Dr. Ricardo Duchesne ] the mta.ca student's opinion piece clearly shows that academia has hit an all time low point in culture and decorum by wrecklessly advocating violence on and off campus rather than civil discourse and the debate of ideas.  Has 2020 looked any better for those on campus I wonder...

Perhaps Grace Wilson should be banned from campus instead of people like me or just put on a "time out" from writing nasty trash pieces like this for the campus?

P.S.  bullying people for freedom of expression, free speech and freedom to discuss ideas is not helpful to your educational life... I've met Ricardo Duchesne and read his books - he is not a bully - he is a scholar .. and I would choose my words very carefully if I were you Grace.. and be very careful about who you follow on Twitter.

Hyper-progressive Matthew Sears has done a lot of damage online to people.  He is unwell and admitted to being in counselling and on medication.

Read this. Duchesne is not only a racist. He's also a buffoon. A dangerous buffoon that all academics of good conscience should oppose. His work is not sound scholarship, but that won't prevent other racists from using it, and UNB, to bolster their cause.

" punch a nazi " has taken on a life of its own with the idea that beating up people you don't agree with is the new normal... I think academia needs to address this problem and address Matthew Sears UNB on twitter -- he is a destructive angry man with mental problems - he is medicated and seeks professional counselling for his issues... he's doing a lot of damage.. how come he still has a job at UNB? https://twitter.com/matthewasears
