As much as we value democracy in Tantramar we don't embody its ideals here at all..
I have had my Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Vimeo, Spreaker accounts removed while doing the advocacy online that I do for the public.. I have to say that Megan Mitton and I could not be more far apart in our politics and my rights to speak freely here have not been respected while she has been continually boosted by the CBC and local reporters such as CHMA FM and Bruce Wark and Erica Butler [now with CBC].
You would have to understand communitarianism to understand why this has taken place since 2010 when I first arrived here to put down roots.
What I would say is this: stand for something or you will fall for anything.
If you understood what Niki Raapana has described as the "dictatorship" of community it makes perfect sense.. those who understand this "ism" are rare.
MLA Megan Mitton certainly has a right to her opinions and to advocate here.. but so do I... and I refuse to participate in any way with their U.N.'s agenda to "dumb down" the general public in 2026.

Sabine Dietz says that she needs money for her "non-profit housing" adventures with Eric T. King.. well dear me Sabine you know that the community has your back and we all wish you the best.. building housing is expensive today.. Dietz admits she cannot do this project without grants [free money] but there are projects happening in the region that are not "community" builds seeking grants [free money].. and to be perfectly honest if your eco-group are more special and you feel you deserve lots of free money to build the housing project maybe your model is a flawed one after all? GoFundMe is also a site people use to get money for their projects given to them.. and GiveSendGo.
Traditionally, the people building "eco-villages" do so with their own money collectively and that seems to work really well for them.. shows integrity... letting government give away millions to people building co-ops seems like government picking winners and losers.. there are no shortage of people who want to build homes but there seem to be a lot of stumbling blocks and interference by government in making sure housing is abundant.. why would that be?

I'm [unfortunately for research purposes] listening to Megan Mitton MLA talking to a young woman Meg at CHMA for their year in review...
there is nothing that "Clueless" Mitton says is important that I agree with her on when it comes to my concerns about our world. The climate change hysteria is ridiculous as is her 'taskfarce non-pandemic' work... she is an ill-informed individual who brings nothing of value to our riding but ineptitude and 'social justice' twaddle and this is due of course to her indoctrination/university education. To sit down and have a discussion with Megan about how ill-informed she is would be a waste of my precious time because her identity politics, fear-mongering, and divisive anti-white rhetoric is part of the package in a deconstructed nannystate loving adult... I'm especially concerned that she influences young people who are impressionable.. she is an agitator and a typical 'social justice' change agent with no common sense.
