Keystone XL Pipeline Halted - Atlas Shrugged?

Pipelines keep getting stopped, reminds me of Ayn Rand's prescient novel Atlas Shrugged. I'm all for environmental regulations but we can't stop development as htere are no viable alternatives today that can power all the trucks that bring our food here, make the plastics, provide tons of jobs, etc. We can transition to alternates but it takes time and we can be responsible.
