I'm always amazed about these local professors who are anti-oil and gas and anti-pipelines and anti-oil sands and anti-everything.. including mining... you know what I think .. I think they live in a very protected little bubble of ignorance... mining isn't the problem in Canada today .. protestors are. People training others to be radicals and protestors and 'resistors' to industries and resource development are a big problem.. I can understand why they would be uncomfortable being questioned by the RCMP but the truth is that they do need to be watched. Sorry Dave Thomas.. but you're wrong again. If you host an event with someone advocating against industry - expect to be watched and questioned. Simple as.
