Mining : To Make Products That We Use On Our Homes and Lives

I'm always amazed about these local professors who are anti-oil and gas and anti-pipelines and anti-oil sands and anti-everything.. including mining... you know what I think .. I think they live in a very protected little bubble of ignorance... mining isn't the problem in Canada today .. protestors are.  People training others to be radicals and protestors and 'resistors' to industries and resource development are a big problem.. I can understand why they would be uncomfortable being questioned by the RCMP but the truth is that they do need to be watched.  Sorry Dave Thomas.. but you're wrong again.  If you host an event with someone advocating against industry - expect to be watched and questioned. Simple as.

Windfarms, solar panels, minerals and mining.. with Dave Thomas - mta.ca professor

Amherst Nova Scotia windfarm - view from Fort Beausejour near
Aulac New Brunswick - National Parks Canada

"Most of the world’s top companies extracting key minerals for electric vehicles, solar panels and wind turbines have been linked with human rights abuses in their mines." A good reminder that 'green' industries/companies are also part of global capitalism

I Love Canadian Mining - stickers from canadaaction.ca

New building in the industrial park... mining = jobs, industry, prosperity, wealth.

Prestige Homes, Nova Scotia..

Maybe to the government workers and university people 'industry' is a dirty word but its still the way the working class make a living .. those who toil and sweat.. for an honest wage.
