Bending To The Will Of A Very Vocal Shrill Minority in Halifax Nova Scotia

Advancing the 'agenda' with more preferential treatment and land grabbing ... government-funded handouts, gibsmedats, endless payouts, etc.. now...

purchasing property for $1 for a native project...

amazingly the name of the city has been changed to Kjipuktuk by just a small number of people... why?

The Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Centre now has land secured for its new centre. HRM sold the property at 1940 Gottingen Street to the Friendship Centre for $1. A staff report had appraised the old Red Cross site at $11.7 million.
The Friendship Centre said the new location will allow it to better serve the more than 7,000 Indigenous people living in Kjipuktuk, aka Halifax.

"In October, the federal government gave $28.8 million to help with construction costs of a new Mi'kmaw Native Friendship Centre. Another $4 million in federal money for the project was announced in May 2022."

Millions and millions of dollars for just over 7,000 people is called special interest pandering... in an age of homelessness, hunger, poverty, unemployment and many people struggling to get through their days due to inflation and strife... this sort of building project is very wasteful, unnecessary and corrupt but the taxpayers are never asked about these expenditures are they?  You could build a lot of housing for $35million... for low income people struggling.
Where's the government strategy to address this very real problem in Halifax and elsewhere?  There isn't one.  Its about priorities and the importance of beneficial spending.

The historic Halifax of old is disappearing and the 'woke east coast city' is here.... pity.

Founder of Halifax... Edward Cornwallis [status was removed by the outrage culture] - white Europeans are offensive.. but.. more importantly, we all need to understand the vocal shrill minority and their demands, needs, wants, desires, requirements... that's the new Canada Trudeau has brought:

"Indigenous identity is complicated" 'Indigenous identity is complex' (mun.ca)
