On September 26, 2025, Frances Widdowson went to the University of Winnipeg to do a #SpectrumStreetEpistemology session on the claim "'Residential School Denialism' is a Barrier to Reconciliation". She was screamed at for an hour and then a number of aboriginal women surrounded her and tried to push her off the campus. When Widdowson couldn't break free from the women, and security didn't answer her calls for help, she sat on the ground.
