"Mar 27, 2021

In November 2020, the Friends of Fundy invited artist, Emma Hassencahl- Perley to come to the Village of Alma and Fundy National Park. This would be her first time experiencing this beautiful place. This mini documentary showcases Hassencahl-Perley's visit to Fundy, her process of painting large scale murals, and conversations around the Indian Act and the term ‘legislative identity’. "It was an honour of mine to work with the Friends of Fundy and go to Fundy National Park to create a work that was directly inspired by the land and water on ancestral territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Peskotomukati, and Penobscot, as I am told. It was my first visit and I feel more connection to this meeting area within my ancestral homeland than I had before." - Emma Hassencahl-Perley A special thank you to Painted Haus Art Cafe located in Riverside Albert, New Brunswick."

Facebook page requesting donations here:

Hi everyone I recently created a patreon as a way to help support my ability to continue to work as an artist. If anyone is generous enough to make a donation of any size, and become a patron, I will be so very grateful! My patrons will get photos and videos of my paintings as works in progress as well as first access to my paintings before I post them on other social media. Thank you in advance! 🙂

Shit That Jon Claytor Tweets.... An Artist's Hot Takes in Sackville NB

The civic elections in May 2020 are suspended so I guess it won't matter..

No one over 40 should be allowed to vote and no one under forty should be allowed to run for office, or whatever
