Nurses from the Phillipines Hired by Recruiters at Local Nursing Home "The Drew" Director Linda Shannon

"A note from Erica:

This is my final edition of Tantramar Report, as my time at CHMA winds to a close today. It’s been a pleasure and a privilege working as a reporter in Sackville, Dorchester, and sometimes even Memramcook, Amherst and Strait Shores. Thanks to all the readers and listeners, especially those who have reached out over the years with a comment, question, or even just a grammar check. It was all appreciated.

CHMA news will take a break next week, but will be back. Stay tuned for further developments."

Nancy Mercier - PPC - Beausejour Canadidate 2019 - Reposting in 2025 - For Comparison & Update Through The Years

After several incidents of threats and harassment that now include the removal and vandalism of my election signs in the Sackville area, I am filling a formal complaint with the police and pressing charges to pursue those responsible for these illegal acts. You can read more about the incidences in the attached blog article.

More this year with a Conservative election sign being vandalized near the highway in our Beausejour riding held by long time Liberal MP Dominic Leblanc -- read here:

You won't see any Libertarian signs posted around town because its clearly a waste of money and not productive to put up signs.
Word of mouth is more useful at this point.
Tim Moen created and promoted #SelltheCBC signs when he was the leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada.. shown below.

Could be a popular lawn sign perhaps?
Bruce Phinney's election signage was also vandalized during the provincial election so it appears to be a culture of intolerance here.
Nancy Mercier's sign in Beausejour was also given the "treatment" by some angry folks.. photographed below by THE Indie Media Eastcoast... thanks for the article on this Bambi/Rima Azar, much appreciated, and yes people need to learn to control themselves.

Tantramar Mayor Andrew Black on Facebook - Updates at Mount Allison University Reporting by Erica Butler CHMA FM

Photography by THE Indie Media Eastcoast

Update on proposed Rogers tower installation:
I spoke with Michelle Klein on the phone today, from Scott Telecom Services Ltd. who Rogers uses to contract out the planning side of this process. She said that they had received 17+ letters from citizens within Tantramar with concerns and opposition to the location (NOT THE TOWER ITSELF) that is being proposed. Even though today, February 26, is the last day for public submission on the project, Michelle said that it is somewhat of an arbitrary date. They have to choose a cutoff date in the process and this is the date they chose.....if people within the community still want to have their voices heard there is a 14 day grace period in which there will be a response to any submission presented.
I also want to make it clear, after reading many comments on this social media platform, that council is not opposed to the tower itself and realizes the impact that it would bring to the community with the expansion of cell phone service and the direct connection to supporting public safety in Tantramar and the area. The issue is the location for the placement of the tower that is being proposed.
I am awaiting a response from Rogers on the letter that I sent which I have been told is forthcoming and I will update again as this story continues."

CHMA FM Erica Butler Reports At University since 2020 [from Halifax Examiner]

It is election season in New Brunswick....

Coming to Sackville New Brunswick in 2020 Erica Butler transplanted from the Halifax Examiner - see reporting here:  Erica Butler, Author at Halifax Examiner

You can't leave a comment at their university campus website and this indicates your feedback isn't required at all. Weird.  You are welcome however to donate to their website.  CHMA FM is funded by Rotary Club and Community Radio Fund of Canada.

Latest from Erica Butler at CHMA FM here with Mario Levesque at Mount Allison University:

Levesque talks Tantramar candidates, issues, and return of on-campus polling » CHMA, Voice of the Marshes (chmafm.com)

"And Tantramar voters have a special status in this year’s election. Based on population numbers used to redraw electoral boundaries last year, Tantramar has the lowest number of electors in any riding in the province, with just 9059. Neighbouring ridings of Shediac-Cap Acadie and Dieppe-Memramcook both have over 12,000 electors. “We deviate by just over a third in this riding,” says Levesque. “So our vote has the most weight in this whole province.” "

Levesque arrived on campus in 2012. [I arrived in 2010]

Of additional note:  "The Libertarian Party of New Brunswick" led by Keith Tays has now been registered for this election in 2024 -- so you may still yet see a candidate for that party in Tantramar - more at their website:  http://lpnb.ca/media

The Libertarian voice is always missing from the political conversations in this "progressive" riding of "educated folks".. I am always amused by that simple fact.  Perhaps their candidate could come from the student population?  To be honest and to be truthful how many people wouldn't be aware that by simply lowering the massive burden of taxation you would see an instant improvement to every voter's life and we'd all enjoy an invigorated and stimulated economy naturally?  Of course an "academic" like Mario WOULD NEVER mention this simple truth; he's part of the problem.  Our local chattering class of academics in their comfortable lives dwelling in secure jobs in their " ivory towers " never suffer financially.. they're "tenured" and well paid -- very much taken care of by the nannystate they support 100% ... but they do look down in judgment on the working class with a combination of pity and detachment.. offering up their word salad on fixes.

"About Us

Welcome to the Libertarian Party of New Brunswick, where we stand firmly on our principles to ensure all individuals have the freedom to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit, as long as they do no harm to another. Our core beliefs revolve around significantly reducing the size and intrusiveness of government, cutting and eliminating taxes at every opportunity, and allowing peaceful, honest people to offer their goods and services without inappropriate interference from the government.

We believe in a society where peaceful, honest individuals can make their own decisions about how to live their lives, free from the fear of criminal or civil penalties. Founded in 2024, our party advocates for a more prosperous New Brunswick.

As part of the broader Libertarian movement, we are dedicated to expanding individual freedom to its furthest limits. We affirm the principles of no person or institution having the right to initiate the use of force or fraud against another, and that the only moral purpose of government is the preservation of individual rights. We also recognize the voluntary exchange of goods and services as essential for a free and prosperous society.

By joining the Libertarian Party of New Brunswick, you’re not just becoming a member of a political party; you’re joining a community of like-minded individuals committed to making New Brunswick a better place for all. Together, we can work towards a future where individuals are empowered to make their own choices and live their lives to the fullest, without undue interference from government or other institutions."

18 Weldon Street Sackville - A Housing Story by Erica Butler CHMA FM 106.9

"Illegal notices, demolition plans, and rent hikes at Sackville apartment building"

At this link:

"On today’s show, former tenants of a building on Weldon Street in Sackville were shocked to see the apartments they had just vacated to make way for demolition, advertised for rent again at much higher prices. We speak with some of those tenants and the new landlord to find out how the renoviction happened, despite New Brunswick’s renoviction law.

Plus, the Sandpiper Festival starts this weekend in Dorchester, and we hear about the Moving Forward Cooperative’s Paddle on the Pond event slated for Saturday."

For James Anderson CHMA FM "Manager" Who Cowardly Removed His Comments Section Under Duress

Dear James,

If you can't take the heat.. get out of the kitchen.

Removing your comments section from your website as well as soliciting donations is weak.

Where did the pressure come from James?  The Rotary Club? The Local Progressive's Club?

Peace and luv,

- An older and wiser local.

PS:  Comments section was removed at the onset of the 'covid19' psy-op in 2020.

On campus they're doing a lot of cultural warfare and psy-ops ... just keep that in mind... because out here its fairly peaceful overall.... let's keep it that way..... just sayin.

Desmond Cole and Erica Butler Discuss Stuff

Photography by Indie Media Eastcoast [haybales on sign photograph by Thaddeus Holownia]

"Systemic racism" and "climate change hysteria" all in one podcast from the useful idiot on campus Erica Butler at CHMA FM.. [she's on hiatus from the "Halifax Examiner" and hopefully goes back there soon]

Desmond Cole comes to Mount A and brings some questions about how schools handle Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility » CHMA 106.9 FM (chmafm.com)

The blogger on campus that Erica Butler attempts to shame and mentions without naming is Rima Azar.. and here's her post on the b.s. narrative continually peddled on campus and which continues the 'divide and conquer' tactic [happens to work]:

I don't mind calling Erica a propagandist and fear-mongerer when it comes to her 'yellow journalism', attempts at covid19/climate change hysterics and just her overall shabby, weak, biased reporting.

Youtubers "BlackLantic" Promoted / Supported by both CHMA FM and Sally Ng.... Why? "POC Pandering".. of course.

Youtube would never allow a "Whitelantic" podcast channel. . . would CHMA FM allow, promote, fund a podcast about "White People Stories" in the Maritimes of Canada? Probably not...

Just sayin..

"BlackLantic" is funded by supporters.. [including *Sally Ng] "BlackLantic" are Clinton Davis and Hillary Leblanc... [of East York Ontario according to their

Fundraiser by Black Lantic : Help BlackLantic Amplify POC Voices - Donations (gofundme.com)  ]

Again, as I have said before, their campus "Anti Whitism" culture spills out into our town and I was already aware of this .. recently a group of students walked by me one evening and one chirped rather loudly "I hate white people".... so ... is this campus dark humour or something else going on here in Sacktown? More distraction media for the plebs... does the world need more propaganda podcasts discussing race?  Apparently, yeah... they do... but only the 'woke lefty sort'..... like "BlackLantic" an obviously provocative title...
More with Hillary Leblanc chatting to CBC about the plight of those black farmers who came here from Ontario that are seeking to be top meat producers in their part of New Brunswick here:

More here with the duo at "BlackLantic" on Youtube:  BlackLantic - YouTube

Stars are now featured hosts by CHMA FM are older Clinton Davis and younger Hillary Leblanc... not to be confused with Hillary Clinton.. another 'woke' activist, infamous democrat, hair icon in America, and loser to Donald J. Trump in a big election... these 'stars' want us to listen in while they discuss black and Bipocs... so anything not 'pro-white'.. promoted by Mt. A. - - how lovely, not.  They did spend most of their time trashing Kanye West and discussing Biden and Trump and elections [American content]... not a peep about the destruction by Justin Trudeau in Canada though.. imagine that?

Host Hillary Leblanc [declared herself a daughter of a muslim] says she "would rather eat feces than see Donald Trump elected in 2024" [interesting commentary].

Hillary Leblanc was interviewed by CBC to talk up a story on some black farmers who moved here from Ontario... the black farmer claimed New Brunswick is not 'diverse' ... a term for describing a place that is 'white' in the minds of the 'woke' ... yet if one were to travel to Africa a criticism that would never be made is that it is not 'diverse' enough .. do you now see how that works? [double standard] I'm not sure how a Jamaican woman farming in New Brunswick complaining that 'its not diverse here' will help anything?  To be honest, I am more likely not to purchase their products if they are complain about the demographics of my home province... it seems counter-productive in the extreme for Hillary to boost the volume of this voice of one discontented farmer who is fortunate enough to own a home and farm lands [Centreville] in a province of people where there are so many struggling financially just to make ends meet and keep a roof over their heads... ya feel me?

Does it occur to anyone that the labels 'black' and 'white' are free masonic symbols for opposites and used to divide and separate people racially and culturally.. but for what purpose?  Disunity.

What is the elephant in the room that podcasters will not be discussing? King John III ..

people will say 'oh we don't need royals' etc. yet Africa has three royal families, one of which includes a King with multiple wives... so I suppose its fair to say that some royals are more revered than other royal families in the world... in the case of the African royals I doubt they would be 'cancelled' as easily as the Royals in Britain where a demographic replacement is well underway.

Planet Hatch, Sally Ng Part Ways

--> Entrevestor

and here Sally Ng
who wants "kids coding" [they're children, not baby goats Sally]:  Entrevestor

[Ahead of the New Brunswick election on Monday, Planet Hatch Executive Director Sally Ng wrote the following column for the CBC. The piece was accompanied by this radio interview with Terry Seguin.]

If you had asked me five years ago if I would still be in New Brunswick, I would have said, “Not a chance.”

Years after studying at Mount Allison University and the Moncton Flight College, here I am in the province back in my hometown of Fredericton, helping to develop the next generation of successful technology companies through my work at Planet Hatch.

Previously, I couldn’t quite see the potential.

After working with start-ups, such as Clarity, and having the opportunity to facilitate Start-up Weekend events with Up Global around the world I saw the potential of what we have in our backyard.

I can see the light at the end of tunnel to get us out of our massive piles of debt. Often times, especially in New Brunswick, we tend to see things as the glass half empty instead of half full.

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us,” Helen Keller once said.

Over the past 10 years and over history, as a province we have had several incredible developments that have revolutionized industries around the world.

From the development of the Scuba tank in the 1800s, to creating a variable pitch propeller, and now creating world class technology companies.

In 2011, we had $1 billion worth of acquisitions through Radian6 (acquired by Saleforce for $360 million) and Q1Labs (acquired by IBM for $700-million plus). The two exits produced 50 new millionaires in the New Brunswick that year.

Moving forward how do we continue to develop these innovations that compete with the world, but yet help bridge our province together. Here are some key points that we need to consider.

Love it or not, we’re in the 21st century and digital age. This will create mountains of opportunities that can connect us to other markets faster than anything else.

Ng said the province's technology industry has many reasons to be proud. For instance, she said Salesforce bought Radian6 for $360 million in 2011. She said in 2011, the acquisitions of Q1Labs and Radian6 generated $1 billion.

Yes we can still ship products across the ocean, but what if the product you ship is virtual? What if it was software? In this example, we are no longer bound by geographic areas.

What if we could speed up the process for applications faster by simply providing the options for digital forms and submissions.

Efficiency would be increased and a more streamlined process of services could be developed.

What if every kid could code? We need to prepare our kids to be ready for the future.

Coding will be just as important as math in less than 10 years. Let’s start early and help kids learn now.

Let’s face it, our province is broke. Moving forward, instead of creating the same thing in every corner of the province, let’s build on what already exists and strive to improve it.

If we continue to have two to three people working for supporting organizations, we end up duplicating and also diluting the resources by not having a central hub.

For example with our three-month accelerator program at Planet Hatch, (now powered by Propel ICT) our province does not have enough critical mass yet to have the program running in every city. We need to build clusters and build the critical mass first.

We only have so many mentors, companies and resources to go around. Let’s not dilute the resources by trying to do everything for everyone right at the start —we can’t afford it.

We need to band together and raise the tide together.

We’re not competing with each other, we’re competing with the world. Coordination of all aspects relating to the economy, departments need to and continue to work closely together.

We have programs that are beginning to work, no they aren’t perfect, but we did see one of the highest drops in unemployment in Canada in August.

It takes time for innovation to happen, it’s not just overnight.

I continue to see our companies and partners rave about such programs such as the small business investor tax credit, (which rivals British Columbia) NB Growth Funding, Innov8 Funding and several others.

Planet Hatch is exactly one year old, within our first year with our 11 start-ups, they have raised more than $1.4 million in private sector funding.

Other organizations such as our partners at Propel ICT have also seen tremendous success in their alumni with having created more than 250 jobs from 2011-13 among 30-plus new companies.

Let’s talk about these success in order to help our province learn and get inspired by what is possible and learn from what other regions and countries are doing in order to help devise our own plans.

Innovation doesn’t happen because someone tells you to “innovate” it's nurtured and developed. Policy can definitely help leverage it, but people need to want it.

Create the opportunities to show us what’s possible.

Support initiatives for early-stage start-up development and support. Support initiatives that are helping create an entrepreneurial-minded community and province.

Help us develop the skills to compete in the 21st century.

When it comes to the state of innovation in New Brunswick, it’s not our ability that’s holding us back, it’s the mindset of being able to take the bull by the horns and jump both feet into the digital future.

Sally Ng is the executive director at Fredericton-based Planet Hatch, which just celebrated its first anniversary. She has also worked as a global facilitator for Startup Weekend.

Sally Ng might be surprised to hear a different perspective when it comes to children from 'Scrappy Mums Against AI' Alison McDowell who says we don't want our children on the blockchain:

Helping little folks get big, huh Sally Ng? How? Using "banksters" money? Ha!

Repairing the damage done by the minions...
as much as possible, in New Brunswick...
