Here’s a quick introduction to the News Team here at CHMA. We’ve had a great summer so far - we hope you’ve been enjoying the coverage. Please remember to visit www[dot]chmafm[dot]com to subscribe to the email newsletter and catch the web stories. Tune in to 106.9 FM weekdays at 8, 9, 12, and 5 for the broadcasts and on Saturday we have a Week-in-Review at 9am. Send us any and all story ideas at news[at]chmafm[dot}com.

Katie Tower is a longtime community journalist who spent more than 22 years reporting for the Sackville Tribune-Post, covering local news and telling the stories that mattered most to her community. Katie continues her passion for local journalism as the community mentor/editor with CHMA, where she is helping to edit, copy and guide the news team.

Mike Robar is part-time and likes to reports on all things business and development, and loves to provide voice to community organizations looking to make a difference. He spent a year-and-a-half at The Guardian in Charlottetown, PEI after graduating from the Holland College journalism program in 2020, and has been with CHMA since February 2026.

Theodore Ramharack is our full-time LJI journalist. Theodore is a recent graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Fanshawe College and recently completed an internship with CBC News' The National.

Clinton Davis is long-time contributing journalist/producer with CHMA News covering every aspect of Tantramar (including Sackville, Dorchester, Port Elgin, Midgic and surrounding communities). He reports on municipal government, public safety, community events, local business, regional issues.

Because I've been in this town since 2010 I am able to recall and advise you dear readers that there have been on campus in the past groups of students promoting the liberty ideals.. and it is still a wonderful and worthwhile effort to pursue in education and in life skills.....  If you are a liberty-minded thinker you might benefit from promoting this advocacy to young and old students in 2025.

On Twitter:  Students For Liberty on X: "Thomas Sowell was once a committed Marxist. Even after Harvard. Even after Milton Friedman. So what changed his mind? It wasn’t a book. It was working in government. Here’s the story 🧵 https://t.co/OZc2I7NB3z" / X
