Reminder...
Photography by THE Indie Media EastcoastThe not-too-bright minions of the Town Hall were advised ages ago on Twitter by me about this missing September 14th poetry plaque and the need to replace it after it was lost during a storm that took out a pole .. and that it STILL needs to be replaced... so in case you ever wondered why their missing plaque is in the sequence its lost... which is unfortunate and disrespectful of Douglas Lochhead's memory .. that is the ongoing and confounding mystery solved.. the incomplete collection of poetry plaques by WW2 veteran, first Poet Laureate of Sackville N.B. Mr. Douglas Lochhead's "Poetry on the Poles" September 1 to September 30 ... displayed along the poles of Main Street Sackville New Brunswick.

Seems unfortunate to me that the petty town hall staffers would rather block me on their Twitter than act in good faith and take action on a request to replace this missing plaque which was lost after a storm took out a power pole that was later removed along with the attached plaque and lost from the landscape... Bruce Phinney Town Councillor advised he would look into it but nothing has been done.. what do these elected people actually do for their paycheques? Seems like Bruce is a little wrapped up in the local fire hall drama... more here:

Douglas Lochhead's Poetry on Poles... is now an incomplete masterpiece in the downtown... why?
Its replacement has been requested by your's truly a few times... noted the continued absence of the plaque which has resulted in a re-shuffling of the other plaques to fill in the space... curious.

"September 14
dear x,
it is of course the silence to which
I have referred elsewhere. this is the
killing or loving thing between two. here
is the killing, and there is nothing to be
done about it, because, admit it, at least
to yourself, you and I are too timid, really
too much afraid to do something (at least
something would be better). so now the
non-letters I continue to not receive breathe
a heavy breath and it makes this place leap
up and fall back ..... how do you set characters
now the metal ones in the stick or do some
of the glancing moves remind you of me and
spoil it because it is no escape, is it?
perhaps there will be something tomorrow .....
I doubt it wise one."
