If no one questions these women on their climate change b.s. and their anti-fossil fuels b.s. in 2026 what's the point?  These propagandists seek to dismantle our society in every possible way and it is not something we should be celebrating or embracing.. extremist social engineers such as Naomi and Megan do not live in the real world.. they live in a strange and dark place and have little to offer due to their advocacy for "systemic change" which is a road to nowhere... this is a very cold nation.. going "fossil fuel free" is ridiculous.

 The problem here Tantramar University City in a nutshell? I didn't say no to the Canadian "Energy East Pipeline".. but a noisy, bossy, professor-led little group from the local university did.. so that's unacceptable because that's not how democracy works for the good of all.. is it?

Also, if you want to burn wood to heat your place... I'm fine with that too.. just sayin.  Don't be a hypocrite.. if you benefit at all from the use of various and plentiful Canadian resources then be an unapologetic advocate for them... don't be a troublemaker.

Does the Mount Allison University MAFA have an unhealthy distaste for fossil fuels still in 2026? Yes.. they do.. but as the streets are kept clear from snow this winter and the sidewalks made safe by snow removal workers just take a moment to thank fossil fuels.. be humble; be honest; be true.  

Support free speech and debate and keep MAFA an inclusive place for all... no bullying; only diversity of ideas.  You don't want to get a bad reputation for clobbering free speech on your campus.. do you?

"Dr. Karen Bamford, MAFA President, said that she was pleased that the Employer agreed to replicate what the collective agreements would look like based on the sector bargaining pattern, and to do this without going through provincial conciliation or threats of lockout or job action.

“This agreement certainly has the potential to improve the relationship between our members and the Employer but there are still irritants to address before we can say with confidence that we are on a path towards a better atmosphere,” she said.

In answer to the question of how important fossil fuels are to our life in Canada...  here's some books to help your education progress..

What about this:  they help you survive in the cold weather, move your products and food and build your economy, heat your homes, run your vehicles, snowplows, busses, create endless products that you happily use including your handy cell phones and laptops, and the boots for walking the snowy streets [while complaining about fossil fuels]. 

Be grateful and be real.  Meanwhile, at the university faculty lounges the well paid chattering class bash away at the 'bad guys in Canadian industries', just cos they can....

Its a pity that these students who pay so much money to attend this campus have such bad advice given to them when they expect an 'enlightened' campus culture.  I suspect that youngsters Helen and Nick are in the minority of students.

Pipelines Protesting Mount Allison University Students -- this is 'social justice' culture?

These toddlers have been misinformed, misguided, and miseducated about pipelines and its very sad to know this is what Canadian universities are producing and what our local social justice resident 'planned economy' #gibsmedat 'change agent' Julia Feltham at funded "Commons" is encouraging.
So unnecessary and so sad... our nation shouldn't be dependant on foreign oil.

I realize Naomi is some sort of cult figure but I think it would be a great counter-balance to bring Alex Epstein to the campus for a different type of discussion... he's the author of "The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels"...
