Trails, and Town Management Notifications - Tantramar's Safety First Approach
News from the Mother Ship here at their Facebook... [by the way .. we are not all using Facebook .. so as a public service the information is shared at this blogger on behalf of the management in Town .. perhaps they should consider using their Twitter account again... not everyone is using Instagram FYI]
Tantramar Trail Update The Province announced yesterday that as of 12:01 a.m. this morning, Crown land has reopened for hiking and activity.
Sackville Waterfowl Park Retention Pond Trails Rail Trail (managed by the Province) 
Still Closed Until Further Notice: All other municipal trails (phased reopening will follow if conditions improve)
Important Reminders: The province-wide burn ban remains in effect.
No ignition sources are permitted on trails (matches, lighters, camp stoves, etc.).
Smoking is NOT permitted on any trail.
CSA-approved charcoal BBQs used for cooking at your home are permitted.
The use of charcoal firepits at your homes is NOT currently permitted.
Please note: We will need much more than a few days of rain before wildfire risk is significantly reduced. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue lean on our residents to ensure our community remains safe from dangers of wildfires.
Enjoy these natural spaces in the town.. they are for all of us. No exceptions.
