Shown above... Town Councillor Greg Martin [Aulac] says:  "I totally agree with the idea of not having two meetings in the summer time.. I enjoy a break in the summer time like everybody else would .. and I think that we should pass this on to the staff so that anybody who wants to make their plans can do it and enjoy a little bit of the summer.. uh.. we ask a lot of the staff.. and they're gonna be busy after the summer's over and with everything happening in an election next year.. and I think that it worked well last summer.. I didn't hear anybody complaining about not being able to access information for services that they wanted from the town hall and I think most people would agree that summer time is family time and if we can give it to the staff as we would enjoy it then we should be doing that, thank you Mayor"

Accelerating the digital economy in New Brunswick: What’s next?

"Frank McKenna’s vision for developing a digital economy that creates wealth and employment and makes the province self-sufficient goes back more than 25 years to when he was the province’s premier. In the last three years, the vehicle for that work has been the McKenna Institute at the University of New Brunswick (UNB)."

As Tantramar happily and blissfully continues to vote "green" provincially some have said they do not get the support and representation they need in Fredericton... this could be a factor.. although.. overall.. the Agenda [to empty our rural areas of humans and human activity such as farming] remains the same - getting humans off the lands, stopping agricultural activity including ranchers with beef farming and crops.. preserving and enlarging protected green spaces and increased conservation lands by environmental groups for their goals of sustainable development U.N. Agenda 2030 and although this Agenda is not being widely reported on it is happening quietly.. most people do not want to address the problems with this Agenda.

TRUDEAU ADOPTS CHINESE COMMUNIST POLICY: The Plan to End Private Property Ownership by MP Cheryl Gallant | Ontario Landowners Association

"The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework creates 23 targets to be completed in the next seven years, but it is the first three which have Canadians worried.

Target 3 has been the one to attract the most attention from the media. It calls for protecting 30% of Canada’s ecologically pristine land and water by 2030.

Target 2 calls for restoring 30% of “degraded” land to a natural state. What the Enviro-crats mean by “degraded” is land used by humans, such as for roads, farms, and homes.

Target 1 calls for the end of all biodiversity loss by ensuring all land and water fall under “integrated biodiversity inclusive spatial planning and/or effective management processes”. Translated from enviro-speak, this means all land and water in Canada must be covered by a Conservation Authority of some type."

CHMA FM reports on local news but doesn't really give a honest reporting of the larger Agenda at play.. their mandate is to keep the public ignorant.

Local News...
more here:

"McKenna and BAM: Frank McKenna served as Chairman of BAM, playing a strategic role in its operations, including subsidiaries like BGRS with government contracts. His influence in New Brunswick ties BAM to local initiatives like Tantramar 2035. McKenna and Carney: McKenna and Carney overlapped at BAM, with McKenna as Chairman and Carney as Chair of Transition Investing until January 2025. Their shared Liberal Party ties and McKenna’s political history suggest he supports Carney’s 2025 PM candidacy, especially in regions like New Brunswick. Tantramar 2035 Context: The Tantramar 2035 initiative, presented by Francesco Fiorani, focuses on sustainability, aligning with Carney’s net-zero agenda. McKenna’s BAM role and New Brunswick influence may connect BAM to such local projects, fueling concerns about technocratic control. Conclusion Frank McKenna’s ties to Brookfield Asset Management are clear through his role as Chairman, where he influenced BAM’s strategic direction, including subsidiaries like BGRS with government contracts. His connection to Mark Carney stems from their overlapping BAM roles and shared Liberal Party affiliations, with McKenna likely supporting Carney’s 2025 PM bid, particularly in New Brunswick. The Tantramar 2035 initiative, as highlighted in the X post, reflects local planning efforts that align with Carney’s climate agenda, but public skepticism (e.g., “test tubing technocracy”) suggests distrust in how McKenna and BAM’s influence shapes such projects. This nexus of corporate power, political ambition, and regional governance underscores the broader implications of their ties."

Announcement About "Namaste Bistro" Coming to Sackville New Brunswick in 2025

From Facebook...

Exciting News, Namastiers! 🎉
We are beyond thrilled to announce that Namaste Bistro is opening a brand new location in Sackville, NB! 🙌 Set to open in Q2 2025, we can’t wait to bring our delicious, modern-day Indian cuisine to a whole new community.
Since the fire at our Fredericton King Street location in May 2022, we were approached by many developers in the city with proposals to open Namaste in their buildings. We are forever grateful for their interest and support. But we took a step back and reimagined our vision for Namaste and we’ve made the decision to only open locations in buildings that we fully own or have a significant stake in. This led us to bid on the Lemont House, with a vision to redevelop it into something truly special. While that journey didn’t unfold as we had hoped, it only fueled our passion to create a long-term, sustainable future for Namaste.
This brings us to our exciting new location at 24 Mallard Dr, where we’re transforming the space into the original Namaste Bistro – a fine-dining, modern-day Indian restaurant that you’ve come to love. 🏢✨
We are also thrilled to share that Namaste Fredericton is part of our long-term vision, and we have exciting plans for a 2026 reopening! 🎉 We can’t wait to bring our beloved restaurant back to the heart of Fredericton in the coming years.
We are deeply grateful for the support of the City of Sackville and the Planning Commission, who have been instrumental in helping us bring this dream to life. Their cooperation and guidance have been invaluable, and we already feel the love and warmth of the community here. ❤️
Here’s what you can expect:
• Over 75 seats of cozy, modern dining
• A private room for special occasions 🎉
• A summer patio that will seat 30 people 🌞
Chances are, we all know someone who’s been to Mount Allison University or is currently enrolled. Whether you’re visiting Sackville, passing through, or simply exploring the area, we’d love to welcome you and serve you a delicious meal at Namaste Sackville! ❤️
We are so excited to share this new chapter with you! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to opening.
With gratitude,
Preetpal Sohi & Surendra Semwal
