Reminder: Communitarianism is the elephant shitting in your livingroom...
'community group think'... Why do it? Why are comm. so concerned about constantly socially engineering other's and their thinking, behaviour, and lives? Ask yourself if you are a meddler or a follower or a live-and-let-live human being... what path is truly the best one for you?
Why are these 'community' change agents always funded? They are collaborators. Our ex-Mayor, boomer native-consultant, and communitarian minion, Rotary Club minion, puppet John Higham initiated this group and its funding... but why?
"Inspiring minds inspiring spaces inspiring Sackville" is more word salad from funded minions.

Because communitarianism is about the supremacy of group rights over individual rights there is nothing but a constant clobbering of individuals in this oppressive regime of 'community sanctioned' thinking... Just one example here is [with the obvious exception of myself, a humble blogger of note] an immigrant from Lebanon within the chattering class, a well paid university professor, free speech advocate/blogger who was employed at Mount Allison University but who has been willing to advocate for uncomfortable ideas and more freedoms -- now on [paid?] 'leave' by the comm. bullies in the local university's administration and on the 'shit list' officially too.. so do not think they won't target anyone else who tries to encourage others to speak freely.. think freely.. act freely - they will!
Perhaps real education should include a caution to students about communitarianism by introducing the thesis by Niki Raapana & Nordica Friedrich into more classrooms and more minds... just a thought... being an individual is not a crime folks.

I will be giving a talk, along with Mark Hecht, at UBC this October 9. I was set to do a debate with Irvin Sudin but he started raising too many conditions which the student organizers could not meet. So the talk will be with Hecht (his article on negative side of diversity was taken out of Vancouver Sun) .
Announcing this talk has been delayed because UBC administration has been setting up one obstacle after another, but Students for Free Expression had enough, will push ahead with the talk come what may. I will let you know soon details of the talk.

Buy Land... They're Not Making It Anymore
Why is buying raw land still a great investment? Perhaps a better investment than a university degree that's more or less worthless in today's marketplace...

When you purchase land to develop you are purchasing a little bit of personal freedom, liberty and wealth building potential .. you may spend your labour to develop that land over time and at your own pace over many years. It is also a legacy to pass on to your children .. that's probably the most valuable gift that you can give to your children .. more valuable than sending them to be indoctrinated at a Canadian university in 2019.
On land you may grow food, build a home, build a guest home, build a workshop, build products to sell, run a business, harvest resources [wood, flowers, herbs, apples, berries, for a few examples] to use for your benefit and for your enjoyment and income potential.. that is true independance from the government.. that's just Economics 101.
Buy land.. its still a great investment .. especially in the Maritimes! The average university student spends tens of thousands of dollars on a piece of paper but gains next to no practical life skills for personal empowerment.. on the contrary they are being indoctrinated to global citizenship and global village thinking.. really rather unhelpful I would say. Nature provides abundance, scarcity is a myth....
Generating personal wealth is still the best way to become independant, happy and prosperous.
Celebrate the freedom to do as you please in a very large nation!

So why are independant reporters such a threat to the CBC who work with government funding to control the narrative and dictate what are acceptable discussions to have? How do you like your society being policed for speech? Its a Brave New World Order.. eh? Is questioning mass immigration hate speech?
